Q: What is your favorite activity when you aren’t working?

A: I read. A lot. Since I was a kid and to this day I need to be actively pulled away from books or I will probably never leave the house.

Q: When did you create your business, and what inspired you to start this specific business venture?

A: I started my current tarot business – my tarot blog and online tarot course – in 2019. What inspired me to start it was the transformation tarot caused in my own life.

Q: Why was it important for you to create your business?

A: This business basically allowed me to combine my passion for teaching with a more creative and self-employed business model.

Q: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice during the first year of your business, what would it be?

A: Stop worrying about what others will think. The truth is, people will judge you no matter what. There is NO WAY to come out unscathed, so stop trying.

Q: What is your favorite part about working with/supporting your specific clients?

A: My favorite part about teaching others to read tarot is demystifying it for them. While it is a rich and endless learning journey, getting started is often not as complicated as people think.

Q: Where can our viewers find you?

A: My blog is at and I’m very active on Instagram at @happyasannie.

Q: What does confidence mean to you?

A: I saw a quote once that said something like, “Confidence isn’t telling yourself everyone will like you. Confidence is knowing some people won’t and being okay with that.” That’s such an important distinction.
