Interview Lauren D’Agostino

Lauren D'Agostino

Today’s guest for the #womensupportingwomen feature is Lauren D’Agostino of Chef Lauren’s Table! I knew that this month was perfect to introduce someone who shares about what we put into our bodies and how we show love and care for ourselves during that process.

Let’s step in! 👇

Q: What is a personal favorite quote?

“Learn how to cook—try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun.”

—Julia Child

Q: What are 3 fun facts about you?

  1. I started my journey in food at pastry school.
  2. I used to work at Disney World.
  3. I still have two baby teeth.

Q: When did you create your business, and what inspired you to start this specific business venture?

A: 2018. A personal wellness journey inspired me to develop a sustainable strategy for cooking plant-based meals. I wanted my food to taste amazing, while also being fun.

Q: Why was it important for you to create your business?

A: I felt a higher calling to serve, and I knew that I had to follow that craving to feel a total sense of fulfillment with my life.

Q: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice during the first year of owning your business, what would it be?

A: Say no more often. I think one of the hardest things, when you’re just getting started in your business, is knowing which opportunities to pass on.

Q: What is your favorite part about working with/supporting your specific clients?

A: Seeing them starting to shine in the kitchen, with newfound confidence. And being able to help people through the mindset and skill shifts of growing their kitchen confidence.
