Closet Audit

The Closet Audit is step 1 of a Closet Cleanse. It aims to evaluate your current wardrobe situation and create a plan for improvement.

Whether your stylist works with you on a seasonal, single-session or single-service basis, the process is the same:

Closet Audit Process

    1. Decide on the goals of your wardrobe and create a standard for each piece to be held against.
    2. Gather your pieces and sort by type, color, pattern, fabric, purpose or another defining feature.
    3. Assess what you own using the function-flatter-fit method. Be ruthless.

Function: Your clothes must serve your lifestyle.
Flatter: You must love yourself in your clothes.
Fit: Too big? Too small? It’s tailored or gone.
