This month, we’re leaning fully into the magic of mindful gifting—whether that means treating yourself, choosing something meaningful to gift someone you care about, or even guiding loved ones toward experiences that spark joy, self-expression, and a little nerd-approved fun.
From our very own styling packages to curated fashion and, of course, some nerd-forward gift ideas, we’ll be sharing gift ideas that support expression, confidence, and creativity all year long!
How to participate
- Choose: Pick one person in your life (even yourself!) to gift a style-boosting item or experience this season, then choose something meaningful—an accessory/cozy clothing item, for example, that aligns with their personality (Or perhaps a style session if they’ve expressed an interest in slaying closet monsters or exploring their style goals with some support…)!
- Create: Put together a “mini styling moment”. This could be a one-sentence note on why you chose this gift, or a fun fandom reference connecting the gift to their “character build”, then suggest an opportunity for them to wear it, such as grabbing coffee together, or requesting an “OOTD selfie” the next time they wear it if you can’t hang out in person!
- Capture: Snap a photo of the gift as you’ve styled or presented it—wrapped beautifully, paired with your note, or displayed with outfit inspo and tag #VostraModaQuest, or reply to this email so we can celebrate your thoughtful styling gift with you!

2 Tips to help you slay
For this week’s quest, I’ve chosen to share about something I gift to my own family and friends – one of my favorite hobbies is making earrings, especially holiday-themed sets! Each year, I love creating and giving a fun fashion statement (or two!) to those I love who I know enjoy celebrating the Holidays as much as I do!
— But you don’t have to handmake your gift! Your gift could be a lot simpler, but just as thoughtful, by getting a gift card to a local business, like M&C Clothing & Gifts, or online consignment options like ThredUp or The Real Real, to encourage thoughtful and sustainable wardrobe building that they can select for themselves!
