This week, you’ll reimagine a video game character’s outfit by using items from your own closet. Feel free to add your unique spin or stay canon if you have the right pieces. This challenge is all about getting creative with your closet while leaning into your nerdy side.
How to participate
- Choose: Select the video game character you are recreating with your wardrobe.
- Create: Use items in your closet to create an outfit inspired by this character.
- Capture: Share your outfit with #VostraModaQuest, or reply to this email with your entry.

2 Tips to help you slay
For this week’s quest, I’ve chosen Leah from Stardew Valley. A game update came out recently, and I can’t wait to play when it hits consoles. I’ve dedicated over 7 in-game years, and 376 real-life-hours to this game!
— If you don’t have the exact items your character does, don’t get frustrated! Use this as an opportunity to create an outfit that you think they’d wear if they had access to your closet. For example, I didn’t have a green button-down or brown suspenders, but I did have a green blazer and black harness. I also made another look in all black but with more similar pieces to the original character style. Don’t be afraid to get creative with it!

- Focus on a similar style but in a different color palette if you want to make the character’s outfit more similar to your personal style.
