2 Tips to help you slay
For this week’s quest, I’ve chosen a graphic tee to style in five different ways. Specifically, my retro-looking velociraptor shirt. I’m a big fan of using graphic tees in creative ways so this was an especially fun one to work with!
— I love how a graphic tee and jeans look; it’s a simple outfit. But what if I mix it with “corporate” pieces like a blazer and pencil skirt? Or pair it with colorful orange shorts and a black jacket? Or even a flowy maxi skirt? You might find a new favorite outfit you wouldn’t have tried without challenging yourself!
Our style suggestions
- Use colors found in the item you chose and spread them through the rest of your outfit for cohesiveness. For example, the orange section in my graphic tee matches my orange shorts, pulling the entire outfit together.
- Use style genres to your advantage when creating versatile looks. For example, what would a “professional” outfit look like with your item compared to an “edgy” outfit? Now you have two new inspirations to recreate and discover what you like best!
