2 Tips to help you slay
For this week’s quest, I’ve chosen my stunning and newly gifted (thanks Dad!) Lord of The Rings purse as my inner nerd item. With its bold red map print and bright golden ring embellishment, it’s helping my inner nerd really stand out! Did I also decide to do this because I have an item I want to show off? Absolutely! Will it still make a fun quest for you? 100%
— Your look can include an accessory, an article of clothing, or even something small like a pin, but the goal is to share your fandom favorite with the rest of the world, so don’t be afraid to make it the central piece of your entire look!
Our style suggestions
- Go full theme and create an outfit based on a character or details of the fandom. IE: If I want to embrace my LOTR look, I could wear my Elven leaf pin and some sword earrings as additional accessories, or embrace the Sauron theme with a monochrome outfit featuring metal details.
- Don’t forget about those colors – either complementary or contrasting colors can help pull your entire outfit together and make your chosen item (my precious…) stand out! IE: Pairing my red and black purse with a red and black outfit so it’s all cohesive, or creating some contrast by wearing white so the purse pops!
