Today’s guest for the #womensupportingwomen feature is Kate O’Clair DiTullio of Kate’s Calligraphy and she is making some beautiful, perfectly flourished waves at weddings and special events.

Let’s step in! 👇

Q: What is a personal favorite quote?

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls”

– Joseph Campbell

Q: What are 3 fun facts about you?

  1. I recently got married in Maui to my husband!
  2. I have major cat lady vibes over here with 3 cats; Samii, BB, and Frank.
  3. I will fight an internal battle between a chilled Sauv Blanc, Margarita, Moscow Mule, mojito, or a Paloma.

Q: When did you create your business, and what inspired you to start this specific business venture?

A: I started my Kate’s Calligraphy Instagram just for fun to showcase all the punny cards I made – and I truly feel like I got into my groove around the fall of 2019.

Q: Why was it important for you to create your business?

A: It was something that blossomed into what it is currently becoming. With the support of my husband (then boyfriend) I found encouragement and motivation to see what I was capable of.

Q: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice during the first year of your business, what would it be?

A: Don’t get your base prices from Etsy! It’s not “industry standard” and almost everything is vastly undercharged to stay competitive in the sea of creatives.

Q: What is your favorite part about working with/supporting your specific clients?

A: This one’s a coin toss – it’s between getting to see their projects from start to finish OR seeing them out at their weddings!

Q: Where can our community find you?

A: Instagram: @kates_calligraphy

Q: What does confidence mean to you?

A: Confidence to me is being unapologetically authentic. OWN what makes you, YOU!
