Interview Kerilynn Vigneau

Kerilynn Vigneau

I know from experience how important it is to feel comfortable and confident, and that clothing can be a great tool to help. Which is why I’m excited to introduce our guest, my friend and fellow stylist, Kerilynn Vigneau of KLV Styling to share her journey!

Let’s step in! 👇

Q: What is a personal favorite quote?

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”

— Wayne Gretzkey

“Done is better than Perfect”

— Someone

Maybe more a mantra, but effective in getting goals accomplished

Q: What are 3 fun facts about you?

I love…

  • Horseback riding
  • Dancing (literally can’t stop myself from moving when the music hits)
  • Travel, travel, travel

Q: What is your business?

A: KLV Styling, Branding and Personal Stylist in Boston

Q: When did you create your business?

A: I’ve been styling for a long time, but I decided to make the leap into my own business back in late 2021

Q: What inspired your business?

A: I’ve loved styling but felt constrained by brands and I really wanted to show other women that it doesn’t matter your size, age, or shape you deserve to look and feel great.

Q: What is most important for you and your business?

A: To have fun and keep it flexible. I need to be able to pivot and choose my own adventure each day. Those things can easily be lost when building a business so they have been a big focus for me.

Q: What advice can you give new and growing small business owners?

A: Roll with the punches and give yourself some grace. You’re going to fall on your face and make many mistakes and it’s all going to be okay. They are all chances to learn, grow and come back stronger.

Q: What is your favorite part about supporting your clients?

A: Seeing the “click” in a client’s eyes when they finally see that it’s possible to feel sexy, confident, gorgeous, and even powerful in their clothes.

Q: What is the biggest lesson you have learned about yourself since starting your business?

A: I need structure. I need to be able to inject fun and freedom into my work. The problem I run into is that it can get chaotic if I don’t create “To Do” lists and schedule reminders.

Q: Where can our community find you?

  • Instagram and TikTok: @KLV_Styling
  • Website

Q: What does confidence mean to you?

A: Being able to stand tall in a room and take up space. Doesn’t mean you have to be the loudest or most bubbly person. It means you know you belong and you can do the tough work even when it’s scary.
