Q: What is a personal favorite quote?

“Aim above morality. Be not simply good, be good for something.”

— Henry David Thoreau

Q: What is your favorite activity when you aren’t working?

A: Exploration is the high point of my life: travel, trying new foods, learning new things.

Q: When did you create your business, and what inspired you to start this specific business venture?

A: I started this iteration of my business in 2020 after I quit my corporate job. However, I’ve had stores like this since 2008. Just different names and cities.

Q: Why was it important for you to create your business?

A: I don’t like sacrificing who I am for the sake of a job that doesn’t even come close to paying me what I’m worth. Most of us are undervalued, overworked, and not appreciated for the true breadth of our capabilities.

Q: What is your favorite part about working with/supporting your clients?

A: I think women deserve to find joy. Helping women solve a problem that may seem tiny in the grand scheme of things, makes me so happy because I know, it’s big to her.

Q: Where can our community find you?

Q: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice during the first year of owning your business, what would it be?

A: Learn SEO. Like, yesterday.

Molly Allen, trouble maker since 1981

Q: What does confidence mean to you?

A: Confidence is when a woman finally believes the universe’s plans for her and lives up to them.
